Little Hill Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that seeks to create a more kind world through rescuing and protecting animals from cruelty, providing them with sanctuary and compassionate care, and combating speciesism through promoting veganism.
We at Little Hill Sanctuary believe that animals are here in this world with us and not for us. We offer a place of refuge to farmed animals who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, and used as a commodity. At Little Hill animals are welcomed with love and compassion, treated as the unique individuals that we know them to be, and provided with sanctuary to live out their lives free from harm.
Little Hill Sanctuary is located on the central California coast, nestled among organic strawberry farms, on three acres of grassy fields and shady oak trees. The sanctuary is currently home to more than fifty animals from goats and turkeys to chickens and sheep, even an adorable pair of miniature horses.
Little Hill Sanctuary is a not for profit organization funded by generous human individuals who want to help protect innocent animal lives. The humans of Little Hill invite our community and supporters to visit and volunteer with the animals, scratch some goat horns, cuddle with an ex-cockfinghting rooster, and frolic with an orphaned baby lamb.
