Sunday

Sunday came to the sanctuary on Easter morning when a young activist showed up at our sanctuary gate with them. They were just a few days old. She had just rescued them from a feed store where they were being sold to be raised for meat and she had been driving for hours looking for a safe space for them to live out their life. We didn’t know at the time who they would grow up to be. Hen or roo? Bred for eggs or bred for meat? But none of that mattered to us as we welcomed them on a moments notice with open arms.
