Princess came to us after a series of devastating losses.

Years ago, Princess was rescued along with a dozen other goats by a kind individual. As the years went on, many of the goats passed away over time. Eventually only Princess and one other goat, her best friend, remained.

Then her rescuer passed away. Fortunately, a friend of the rescuer was able to take Princess and her friend in. But not long after, Princess’s one remaining friend passed.

Princess was devastated and her caregivers reached out to us for help. We understood that Princess was sad, lonely, and grieving and we welcomed her here to the sanctuary to live her golden years among new friends.
