Poppy was rescued from euthanasia at a local shelter. She was surrendered to the shelter in such horrible condition that she was beyond their resources to rehabilitate. She was slated for euthanasia if a rescue did not step up. Poppy was obese, sick, injured, and depressed. Despite how many times humans have let her down, Poppy remains the sweetest and most loving piggy. This beautiful girl has a long road to recovery, but she is young and with some of the love and care here at the sanctuary she will have the long and happy life ahead of her that she deserves.
